Poulter's breakthrough role came as Eustace Scrubb in the third installment of The Chronicles of the Narnia movie franchise, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).

He starred opposite Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, and Emma Roberts in the 2013 comedy movie, We're the Millers. The movie was a cult hit and helped further Poulter's mainstream visibility.

In 2014, Poulter had two high-profile roles, first in the crime comedy-drama, Plastic; and later in the much more successful dystopian sci-fi teen drama, The Maze Runner

Poulter starred opposite Dylan O'Brien and Kaya Scodelario in the critically and commercially successful movie, once again demonstrating his versatility as an actor. He reprised his role in the third and final installment in The Maze Runner movie franchise, 2018's Maze Runner: The Death Cure.

Will Poulter was born William Jack Poulter, the son of nurse Caroline Barrah and physician Neil Poulter. Born on January 28, 1993, in Hammersmith, London, England, the 27-year-old is tall and stands at a towering 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 meters).

Poulter studied at Harrodian School in Barnes, South-west London, but due to learning and development disorders like dyslexia and dyspraxia, he always struggled. He found solace in drama and with the help of a supportive drama teacher, was able to pursue a career in it.
