Show business has many types of people involved within it, and while most are out to make it big for themselves there are those who date someone only for financial benefit. Scandals and controversies are an integral part of Hollywood and these kinds of scandals regularly make the tabloid headlines.
Most of them are probably untrue, however, there are some cases where people only date someone only to obtain money or gifts, especially in the case of women. They are often called “gold diggers” and Hollywood is rife with examples of relationships based solely on money rather than love.
