Early Life And Education

Stanley Tucci was born Stanley Oliver Tucci Jr. on November 11, 1960, in Peekskill, New York. He was born to art teacher Stanley Tucci, Sr. and writer Joan Tropiano.  

The 59-year-old is the oldest and the most famous of three siblings: his sister Christine Tucci is an actress in her own right, and his other sister Gina Tucci works behind the camera as a production manager.

He attended John Jay High School in Cross River, New York, and enrolled in the State University of New York at Purchase in Harrison, New York, where he studied acting. He graduated in 1982. 

Marriage And Children

Stanley Tucci married the social worker Kathryn 'Kate' Louise Spath-Tucci on 18 April 1995. They had three children together: daughters Isabel Concetta Tucci, Camilla Tucci, and son Nicolo Robert Tucci.

Stanley had a brief affair with actress Edie Falco while he was still married, but after the affair ended, he returned to his wife.   

Kate died on 27 April 2009 after succumbing to a long battle with breast cancer. 

Stanley re-married on 29 September 2012 to literary agent Felicity Blunt after being introduced to her via her sister Emily Blunt. They officially wed in a civil ceremony in 2012 and had a wedding befitting of Hollywood at the Middle Temple Hall in London, England, on September 29, 2012.
