Richard Eugene Piana aka Rich Piana was born on September 26, 1970, in Glendale, California, the U.S. As per his nationality he was American and belong to mixed ethnicity of Italian and Armenian. He was raised in Sacramento, California. When he was a kid he used to admire Bill Cambra, an “old-school” bodybuilder. Because of him, he used to go to the gym with his mother when he was at the age of 6.
Talking about his married life, he was married twice in his life, however, his first wife’s name is still unknown but they were separated after Rich cheated on her. Later in 2015, he tied the knot to Icelandic bodybuilder Sara Heimisdottir. Sadly, their marriage could not last for long and ended after a few years.
Furthermore, he was in on and off relationship with Chanel Jansen. After he divorced his second wife he resumed his relationship with Jansen, who was with him at the time of his death.
On August 25, 2017, he died two weeks after he was placed in a medically induced coma after suffering a cardiac arrest in his Florida home. According to the source, he collapsed and hit his head. When the medical team finally arrived ten minutes later, they confirmed that his heart wasn’t beating properly.
