Regis Philbin And Wife Joy Philbin Are Selling Their Greenwich, CT Mansion At A Big Loss
After spending more than a decade king of the TV world, Regis Philbin is selling his Connecticut Estate.
As per the reports, his asking price is nearly 36% less than his purchase price.
The property which Philbin bought a decade ago sits on 2.59-acre featuring a six-bedroom, swimming pool, tennis court, and a motor court.
Joy Philbin released a statement that it was her and husband Regis Philbin's mutual decision.
The couple got married in 1970 and have two daughters together: Regis also has two kids from his first marriage with Catherine Faylen.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host Regis Philbin, 88, and Joy Philbin, 78, have put their house of nearly a decade for sale. The market price is 36% less than what they paid while buying the mansion.
In the released statement, Joy said:
"We've moved around a lot and lived in many houses together, but this house will always be our favorite. We celebrated many birthdays and holidays and never had to worry about inviting too many of our family and friends. There was always room for everyone."
The English manor–inspired villa sits on 13,661-square-foot. It includes nine full bathrooms, a master suite, and five other bedrooms. It also has seven fireplaces, pub room, billiard room, gym, and wine cellar.
Similarly, sun room, home theater, sauna, swimming pool, tennis court, and a motor court are some other features of the property.
