He later starred in the action film 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded (2013) and in WWE Studios' 2015 film The Condemned 2. He also had a guest-starring role in the USA Network's new series Shooter that aired on December 2016.

On September 21, 2007, Orton married Samantha Speno and had a child, daughter Alenna Marie Orton. The couple separated in 2012 and officially divorced in 2013.
