Peter Michael Davidson was born on 16th November 1993 in Staten Island, New York, the United States of America. He is the son of father Scott Matthew Davidson, and mother, Amy Davidson. Pete holds American nationality and has a mixed ethnic background. Davidson grew up alongside his younger sister Casey in their home town. 

He enrolled in St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School and then went to Tottenville High School before transferring to Xaverian High School graduating in 2011. Moreover, Davidson attended St. Francis College which is located in Brooklyn Heights, however, dropped out of college. 

Father’s Death

Pete’s father, Scott Matthew Davidson was a New York City Firefighter who lost his life during the service in the September 11 attacks caused by the Islamic terrorist group. Scott was last seen running up the stairs of the Marriott World Trade Center a few seconds before it collapsed. 

Pete was just seven years old at the time of his father’s death and was profoundly affected by his loss. 


Pete has used his body as an open canvas to represent his feelings. He has his father’s badge number i.e. 8418, on his left arm. On 5th December 2017, Pete announced that he got Hilary Clinton tattooed on his leg and called her ‘a badass’ and ‘hero’.

At the age of 17/18, Davidson was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease for which he takes intravenous treatment and uses marijuana as his pain reliever. He is also suffering from borderline personality disorder for which he is undergoing treatment. 

Dating Life And Girlfriend

From 2014 to 2015, Pete dated comedian Carly Aquilino. He then started dating Cazzie David from 2016-18. On 20th June 2018, Pete confirmed his engagement to singer Ariana Grande and was soon to get married. He considered himself lucky to have her in his life.
