Malcolm James McCormick or professionally known as Mac Miller is a late American singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He made his career debut with the album Blue Slide Park which topped the US Billboard 200 in 2011.

He released hit albums like Watching Movies with the Sound Off, GO:OD AM, The Divine Feminine, and Swimming. The rapper was estimated to have a net worth of $9 million at the time of his death.

Regarding his relationship, Miller was in an on-again-off-again relationship with his middle school friend Nomi Leasure. The pair started dating in 2009 until 2016 after they called it quit for good after seven years.

Mac then started dating pop star Ariana Grande from August 2016. They first met while recording 'The Way' in 2012 and became good friends. The American rapper was found unresponsive by his personal assistant in his studio on 7 September 2018. His assistant called 911 right away and performed CPR until paramedics arrived. However, after many failed attempts Mac was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 a.m. due to a suspected drug overdose. He died at the age of 26.  

Miller was buried at Homewood Cemetery in his hometown Pittsburg according to a Jewish funeral. Miller has named his mother, father, and his brother as the beneficiaries for his assets in his will.

On 5 November 2018, Los Angeles County Coroner's office revealed that Miller's death was caused by an accidental drug overdose or due to a mixed drug toxicity of alcohol, fentanyl, and cocaine.
