Peep passed away at the age of 21. He was found dead on 15 November 2017 on his tour bus by his manager who went to check on him for his preparation for the performance at a Tucson, Arizona venue.
As per reports, Peep has taken a nap around 5:45 p.m. before his show. His manager checked on him twice sleeping and breathing fine, however, as unable to wake him up during the third time. His manager performed CPR before medics arrived, though he was pronounced dead.
On 8th December, the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner released a toxicology report certifying the cause of death was an accidental overdose due to the pain medication fentanyl and the benzodiazepine alprazolam.
Peep’s blood test was positive for cannabis, Tramadol, and cocaine. Whereas, his urine test shows multiple powerful opiates including hydromorphone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, and oxycodone.
Peep was cremated at Huntington Station, New York, and his ashes were placed in his grandfather’s garden.
