Real Estate

In 2012, Rimes put her Franklin, Tennessee home up for sale. The property was valued at $7.45 million in 2009, but the price was thought to be so high that there were no suitors until it finally went up for sale in 2012 at $4.1 million.

The 13,300-square-foot home has a six-bedroom, six full bathrooms, and three half baths. The home also has two kitchens, a saltwater swimming pool, and a yoga studio. To suit the musician's needs, Rimes also had the home retrofitted with wiring for a music studio.

In 2013, LeAnn dropped $3 million for a new love nest for her and her husband. The 8,642-square-foot home stands on two acres of high-end Hidden Hills real estate. The six-bedroom-nine-bathroom mansion has a kitchen with a Spanish chandelier and an arched window that provides an excellent view of the outdoors.

Speaking of the outdoors, the mansion comes with a gated pool area and an outdoor dining area with its own fireplace. The already-abundant estate also has a separate guest house to entertain the other high-profile patrons of the Hidden Hills property.

Lawsuit Against Father

LeAnn had no shortage of controversy in her time in showbiz, but perhaps none was more personal than the 2000 lawsuit she filed against her father, Wilbur C. Rimes, and her former manager, Lyle Walker.

LeAnn alleged that her father and ex-manager swindled over $7 million from her over the course of 5 years.

The lawsuit was settled, and eventually, the father-daughter duo reconciled before LeAnn's first wedding, and the two are still on good terms to this day.

Since 2008, following her revelation about her struggle with psoriasis, LeAnn has been working towards raising awareness about the autoimmune disease.

She also performed at a benefit performance of the song "Just Stand Up", which raised funding for Stand Up to Cancer. When all was said and done, the effort raised over $73.6 million that went towards cancer research.

She also performed "The Rose" on December 19, 2010, with The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles as a poignant reminder of the gay teenagers the world lost to suicide.

LeAnn has also collaborated with various charity organizations over the years; some of the most prominent ones include Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Grammy Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, National Psoriasis Foundation, and Save the Children
