Malone married Kay Kinsley, on 24th December 1990. His wife is a winner of the 1988 Miss Idaho USA pageant. The couple is also blessed with four children, three daughters Kadee Malone, born November 8, 1991, Kylee Malone, born April 7, 1993, as well as Karlee Malone, born in 1998, and a son, Karl, Jr. "K.J.", born May 8, 1995.

The newspaper claimed that he had twins Daryl and Cheryl Ford with Bonita Ford, a woman from his hometown of Summerfield, Louisiana and one with Gloria Bell who gave birth two their son Demetress Bell when she was 13.
