Actor Jonathan Taylor Thomass rose to fame and became the international star after playing Randy Taylor on the highly successful ABC sitcom Home Improvements. Thomass first worked in the big-screen, voicing young Simba in the 1994 blockbuster movie The Lion King. The movie starred Matthew Broderick, James Earl Jones, Jeremy Irons, and Moira Kelly. It was also turned out to be a commercially successful, racking up more than $968 million against the $45 million budget.   

Jonathan was paid $600,000 from the 1995 movie, Tom and Huck. The actor also won the 1996 NATO/ShoWest YoungStar of the Year Award.
