John Adams Morgan first came across his then-future wife Sonja Tremont while she was a hostess at the New York City Italian restaurant, San Pietro. The couple tied the knot in 1998, after a few months of dating.  

The couple welcomed their daughter named Quincy Adams Morgan, born in October 2000. Morgan and Tremont, however, divorced in 2006.

Around the same time, the two were co-financing a film, Fast Flash to Bang Time, with Hannibal Pictures. The movie was supposed to star John Travolta. After Sonja did not make any payment back to the failed film, the company filed a case, and they won a $7 million lawsuit against her.       

In November 2010, Sonja also filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, listing $19.8 million in debt and $13.5 million in assets. As of March 2013, the RHONY star was still the owner of a $10 million NYC townhouse and an $8 million French Chateau in St. Tropez. It was disclosed on 17th June 2014 that her French Chateau had sold off for $5.7 million by a trustee.

On the other side, Sonja also claimed that her former husband John has yet to pay a $3 million divorce settlement and still owes more than $300,000 in child support.

John Adams Morgan previously resided in a 3.5-acre private island that is surrounded by Stamford, Connecticut. In 2011, Morgan put such a beautiful property on the market for an asking price of $18.9 million.

John Adams Morgan was born on September 17, 1930, in Oyster Bay, NewYork, the United States of America. He is the son of Henry Sturgis Morgan and Catherine Frances Lovering Adams.  

Morgan graduated from the Groton School in 1949. He later joined Yale University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1953.     

John also won the gold medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics in the 6-meter class with the boat Llanoria.  

Morgan is now married to Connie Morgan. The couple has been together since 2010. Before that, John married Elizabeth Robbins Choate from 1933–1957.  The former pair has a son named John Adams Morgan Jr. 

For the second time, he tied the knot with Tania Goss in 1962. They divorced in 1964. The two have a daughter Chauncey Goss Morgan.   

 In 1998, the businessman got married to his third wife, Sonja Tremont, and their relationship also lasted for seven years.
