Holland Roden was born Holland Marie Roden on October 7, 1986. A native of Dallas, Texas, the 33-year-old comes from an esteemed medical family and was fast-tracking her way to a medical career herself before she found her calling in acting.
Roden went to the all-girls private Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas. After she graduated in 2005, she enrolled at the molecular biology program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), but once her career began gaining traction, she changed majors to women studies.
