...Other African-American Billionaires

Indeed, it is not easy to become a billionaire. And, as Celebrity Net Worth reported, the unfortunate fact is that it is even harder to become one if you're black.

According to the tabloids, the median fortune of black families has not grown since 1992. While the median wealth of white families has multiplied by $50 thousand, it is just another example of the wide gap between the two races; black and white.

David Stewart is the second richest black man in America after Robert F. Smith. He is the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Vista Equity Partners LLC. He is estimated to have a net worth of $4.5 billion, and his company owns assets worth more than $30 billion.

Stewart is followed by American billionaires like Oprah Winfrey ($2.7 billion), Michael Jordan ($1.9 billion), and Jay-Z ($1 billion), who are black.
