Bianca worked as a costume designer at the initial stage of her career. She won a Big Easy Entertainment Award for Best Costume Design for Snow Queen at the age of 17 in 1993.

In 2013, Bianca was among 14 other drag queens competing on the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. She was crowned the winner of the sixth season over runners-ups Adore Delano and Courtney Act on 19 May 2014. She was the first Hispanic to win the RuPaul's drag race.

She released his independent film Hurricane Bianca in 2013. To finance the film, an Indiegogo campaign was created sponsored by Fractured Atlas and raised over $30,000. The film's sequel Hurricane Bianca: From Russia With Hate was released in 2018.
